Kawasaki has been producing axial piston pumps for more than 50 years and leads the world in terms of pump efficiency and performance. The K3V and K5V series units for hydraulic excavators have now been joined by the K7V which is the most efficient axial piston pump available on the market today.
Building on the success of the K3V we developed the K3VG for industrial applications, which has itself been further augmented by the introduction of the K7VG with enhanced noise reduction technology.
The K3V also led to the development of the medium-high pressure K3VL series, which has proved extremely popular in a vast array of industrial, mobile and marine applications.
The latest additions to the Kawasaki axial piston pump range are the 400 bar K8V series; designed for closed circuit applications and hydrostatic transmissions, and the 280 bar K3VLS series for open circuit systems in industrial vehicles.
The Kawasaki K3VL series are variable displacement axial piston pumps of swash plate design, suitable for use in mobile and industrial applications. The unique mechanism obtained through our long research has drastically reduced pressure pulsation. Unload and variable pressure controls are made possible remotely in addition to load-sensing and pressure constant. In addition, the horsepower control is available.
Kawasaki K3VL series swash-plate type axial piston pumps are designed to satisfy medium to heavy-duty open circuit applications in the mobile, industrial, marine and other industries.
The pump’s rotating groups are based upon the proven design of the K3V and K3VG pumps. K3VL pumps are available in nominal displacements ranging from 1.71 to 12.20 in³/rev (28 to 200 cc/rev) with various pressure, flow, and combination control options. Key features of K3VL pumps include:
- Continuous pressure rating of 4600 psi (320 bar), 3625 psi (250 bar) for K3VL60.
