Parker D1VW Directional Control Valve Overview

 
The Parker D1VW is a direct-operated, wet armature solenoid directional control valve in 3-way or 4-way configuration, available in 2-position and 3-position variants. It conforms to DIN NG06 / CETOP 03 / NFPA D03 mounting patterns and is rated to 350 bar at ports P, A and B with a maximum flow of 80 L/min.
 
The wet armature (threaded tube) solenoid design means the armature operates directly in hydraulic fluid, eliminating external shaft seals as a wear point. When de-energised, the spring returns the spool to its offset or centred position. A wide selection of over 25 spool types covers all standard hydraulic circuit functions.

Wet armature solenoid — no external shaft seal — The armature operates in hydraulic fluid via a threaded tube, removing the shaft seal as a potential wear or leak point. Protection class IP65 with correctly mounted connector — suitable for wash-down environments and outdoor installations.
 
Broad spool selection — Over 25 spool types covering all standard switching functions in 3-position and 2-position configurations. Proportional spools 081, 082, 101 and 102 provide soft metering for load-sensitive circuits without separate proportional electronics.
 
Soft shift option — A built-in orifice in the solenoid anchor (S2: 0.5 mm / S3: 0.75 mm) reduces switching acceleration to approximately 25% of standard, dampening pressure spikes and mechanical shock on actuators. Available in DC versions only.
 
Wide voltage range — Six solenoid voltage options: 12 V DC, 24 V DC, 98 V DC, 205 V DC, 110/120 V AC and 230/240 V AC. One valve body series covers both panel-mounted industrial and mobile machine control cabinets.
 
Explosion-proof version available — The D1VW Explosion Proof series (D1VW*EE) with Ex e mb II solenoids covers Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas — including oil and gas, chemical processing, and offshore installations. Consult us for ATEX/IECEx requirements.
