Rexroth A4VSO Axial Piston Pump — Overview
The Rexroth A4VSO is an axial piston variable displacement pump in swash plate design, built for open-circuit hydrostatic drives. It is one of Bosch Rexroth's most widely deployed industrial pumps, rated to 350 bar nominal pressure and 400 bar peak pressure.
Output flow is directly proportional to drive speed and swash plate angle. By adjusting the swash plate from zero to maximum — or across the centreline — operators can continuously vary both the flow rate and its direction, making the A4VSO ideal for applications requiring precise, responsive hydraulic control.
